THIS MAN HAS ALS, AND HIS ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE WILL MAKE YOU LAUGH. THEN IT’LL MAKE YOU CRY

The video begins humorously as Anthony Carbajal, a photographer, dresses up in a neon bikini top and soaps up a car before being doused with ice water.

So watch the full video here and laugh out loud at the first half and then get ready to tear up in the second half.

People talk so much shit about the challenges. Saying it is wasting water when other countries can’t get water to drink. So donate to them too! It’s simple and a good cause. Finding a cure for ALS is a step closer to finding Multiple Sclerosis. And I want that because my mother has MS. So stop putting such a worthy cause down. And if you think it’s taking the spot light away from other causes, start speaking up!!

So a while ago I reblogged this set of nerdy workout routines.  Little did I know, more could be found here (and more of this person’s workouts here.  I’ll add more I like as I find them).  There’s a few here I think my friends might enjoy.  I personally am leaning towards adding the Hunger Games and Minecraft to my workout.

omg this reminds me of the most adorable time when my friend had leaked in art class and she was tearing up a bit and this guy who’s usually quiet but is judged as a jerk because his friends tend to be jerks gets up and throws red paint on the side of her shorts and on his own shorts and throws a couple of other colors in too and starts a mini paint war and other people joined in and i nearly cried because of how cute it was

Awesome guys!

And let’s talk about the fact that Joseph Gordon Levitt himself said the point of the movie is not so you’d feel bad for him and fall in love with him, it’s so you’d realize how selfish some people are.
Actual quote from him from an interview:
The (500) Days of Summer attitude of ‘He wants you so bad’ seems attractive to some women and men, especially younger ones but I would encourage anyone who has a crush on my character to watch it again and examine how selfish he is.”
"He develops a mildly delusional obsession over a girl onto whom he projects all these fantasies. He thinks she’ll give his life meaning because he doesn’t care about much else going on in his life. A lot of boys and girls think their lives will have meaning if they find a partner who wants nothing else in life but them. That’s not healthy. That’s falling in love with the idea of a person, not the actual person."

Also, their names play a role in this message. These girls are not his true love - they are seasons, phases that will come and go and feel different but ultimately repeat themselves.
